From Chamonix, the cable car takes you to Plan Praz at 1999m, then the gondola to Brévent at 2525m.
Plan Praz is the starting point for beautiful excursions, including Lake Cornu and the Grand Balcon Sud. It also offers a nice take-off area for paragliders.
From the summit of Brévent, a trail leads to Aiguillette des Houches, passing by the Bel-Lachat refuge.
The Brévent plates, facing Mont Blanc, form a pleasant and quiet climbing site from the top of the gondola, a 5-minute walk away
